Hi Friends!
My name is Justine. I’m a DIYer with an obsession for finding beauty in all things. I truly believe that no matter what we’re working with, we can make it pretty!
I’m beyond excited to be sharing my passion for DIY, Style, and Beauty with you and I’m so grateful that you are taking the time to join me on my journey to make things pretty.
I’d like to introduce you to my support team, because without them I never would have gotten this far.
Meet my immediate little family, Caleb & Tux. They are two of my biggest supporters and the ones who have to put up with my crazy shenanigans, crafty messes, and trial and error. I am a madly obsessed dog lady, and I have no shame. You will find many of my projects are inspired by my over sized, hairy, drooly, Dood (labradoodle) and my high school sweetheart, the love of my life, Caleb. He knows me better than anyone and he is not only my dream come true, but he is constantly pushing me to make all of my other dreams come true too. When I doubt myself he shows me what he sees through his eyes and I don’t know how anyone could not believe in themselves when someone believes so strongly for them. Thanks for reminding me of my creativity, strength, and intelligence when I get lost along the way, babe.
My mom, Debbie (often times known as Rowdy Ro) is one of my rocks, supporters, and best friends in the world. She raised me to be the independent, quirky, DIYer that I am today, and bless her, she cleaned up the hundreds of beads in the carpet, the colored sand, the markers, the paint, and put up with it when I drew an entire drawing instead of just the item on the card when we played Pictionary. She nourished my creative soul and taught me to always be me – so I have been since before I could talk or put my hand on my hip (pretty sure that came before talking, naturally). I could never thank her enough for all she has done, but I will never stop trying.
My sister, Colene, was my ‘baby’ as soon as she came home from the hospital and has been ever since. She and I share a love of crafts, wine, and all things nerdy, so no matter how much we fight, keeping our friendship is a piece of cake (Inside joke – see what I did there sis?). I’d say on a scale from 1-10, I love her about 9¾ and if she ever needed me to, I would absolutely volunteer as tribute for her. The sisterhood force is strong with this one.
I also want to thank the rest of my family, friends, and those of you reading this, because you all contribute to inspiring me and allowing my success.
Stay tuned for more pretty little shenanigans!
